About Me
Hi there! I’m Jonas Bockstal, a dedicated full-stack software developer with a passion for crafting robust solutions that make a real difference. Whether it’s building Java backends or designing Angular applications, I thrive on solving complex problems and creating tools that truly matter.
Continuous improvement is my ethos. I’m always exploring new challenges, pushing the boundaries of my skills, and trying to stay ahead of the ever-changing tech landscape.
That said, my work is about more than just code. I’m equally passionate about sharing knowledge, whether through this blog or by connecting with fellow professionals. Ask me about my personal knowledge management system, and you’ll see just how deep my love for organized learning runs. Be prepared for some Zettelkasten and Obsidian goodness.
I believe in building not just great software but great connections. Whether you want to discuss tech trends, exchange ideas, or explore a collaboration, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to get in touch using the contact options available right here on the website.
Why ‘Coding and Nothingness’?
The title of this blog, ‘Coding and Nothingness’, is a nod to another passion of mine: philosophy. It’s a playful reference to Jean-Paul Sartre’s ‘Being and Nothingness’, creating a space where technology meets thoughtfulness, and where the lines between chasing down bugs and contemplating the meaning of life blur. This usually occurs around 2 AM, after a particularly stubborn error refuses to be fixed.
